Remember that CD I illustrated/designed for OhBree in September? I got a couple copies of the album in the mail today and they came out great! Really glad I got to do this project.

“We Miss You Edward, Come Home” is a concept album that’s supposed to follow a play that’s going on inside the mind of Edward, who is going insane. OhBree has a crazy awesome sound and the album is pretty wild. Please check them out if you have a chance! I think these guys really deserve to be heard :)

Still have a lot to learn about using these colored markers, but it’s a start.

“Tiny Eviction Notice”

More album artwork I did this week. Just wrapped everything up last night and the band is putting the order in for the CDs today. Super excited to see this one :)

Just finished up some cover art for OhBree’s new album, “We Miss You Edward, Come Home”. Concept of the album is that we’re all watching a strange and slightly terrifying play that’s happening in the mind of Edward, who is going insane.
What do you think?

Propeller hats are in season.

The robot factory controls have a very user-friendly interface.

Took a break from the robots to draw this for one of my friends.

Taxidermy

He snarled and he huffed,
He growled and he puffed,
But the animals just snickered, knowing,
That although he was tough,
And sure mean enough,
Poor Wolf’s fluffy stuffing was showing.

Practicing my linework by doodling some buildings from Venice.

Well since I wasn’t happy with the first attempt, I tried it again, with some experimenting and (hopefully) learning. I like the direction it’s going in, but man this took so much longer than the first one haha.

With my current life situation (unemployment! wooo) I have lots of spare time on my hands, even after applying for a million jobs every day (minor exaggeration), so I’m finally starting to whittle down my long list of artistic goals / to do’s.

The first big one I’m tackling is to practice digital painting with my new tablet. I’m trying to expand my range of illustration styles so I can maybe do some freelance work or something……….

Ok so this is my first attempt so don’t make fun of me because I found out really quickly that it’s really hard (that’s what she said) and this is going to take a ton of work and I get discouraged too easily ughhh. Sorry.

I made a zine! It’s 12 pages of my recent stuff, along with some words here and there. It was super fun curating this small collection of my own illustrations, and I hope I can make more issues in the future if this one works out! I printed a run of 20 for now, and they’re up on Etsy for $6 each

Ahh. I’m nervous. I hope this works out! :)
